Edward J. Dovin is a partner with the law firm of Dovin Malkin & Ficken LLC. Mr. Dovin was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and moved to Georgia in 1970 with his family. He attended elementary and high school in Marietta. Mr. Dovin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest in 1982 and his Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1984. In 1988, Mr. Dovin received his Juris Doctorate (cum laude) from Georgia State University. During law school, he served as the Assistant Managing Editor of the Georgia State University Law Review and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Trust Company Bank. Mr. Dovin received various honors while in law school including: a Knowles Scholarship in 1986, Outer Barrister's Guild Award 1985-1988 and the American Jurisprudence Book Awards in Securities Regulation and International Trade.
